Plot

In the forsaken town of Freedom, Florida, a chilling tale of survival unfolds, spinning the yarn of human nature when teetering on the precipice of death. "Starve" thrusts us into the lives of Beck, Candice, and Jiminey, three intrepid friends and creators of a graphic novel, who venture into this ghost town to untangle the urban legend of feral children. Oblivious to the cryptic warnings from the town's fringe dwellers, they tumble into the twisted game of Runyan, a reclusive psychopath. In the labyrinth of an abandoned high school, they find themselves ensnared in a horrifying spectacle of entertainment and vengeance. Hunger is their new puppeteer, forcing them into a gruesome battle for their next meal, where the only rule is kill or be killed. But as they plunge deeper into this nightmare, they realize that Runyan is merely a puppet himself. The strings are held by a shadowy caretaker whose sadistic demands echo through the silence, his motives hidden in the murky depths of his dark past. As our protagonists grapple with their darkest fears, they are forced to question: can their bonds withstand such monstrous trials? Or will their will to survive shatter their humanity? In a terrifying exploration of the extremes of human endurance, "Starve" uncovers the horrifying lengths we are willing to go to stay alive. This haunting tale grips you from start to finish, forcing you to confront the most unsettling facets of human nature, where survival isn't just a fight against death, but a battle against oneself.
