Stargate Universe: Extended Pilot (2009)

The Stargate program began as a way to investigate and protect Earth from the technologically-advanced and often war-mongering creatures on the other side of the dimensional portals. But it's since extended into the deepest regions of space. Colonel Everett Young and Dr. Nicolas Rush worked for Stargate, but now they're on an ancient space freighter packed with refugees. Finding a way home means venturing into the darkest corners of space. And while that means danger is around every corner, neither Rush nor Young are paragons of virtue. They'll have to wrestle with hard decisions if anyone is going to survive.
