Stan & Ollie (2018)

This is a biopic of the last tour of the famous comedy duo Laurel and Hardy. After the war, they try to rekindle their careers by embarking on a tour of post-war Britain and Ireland. They didn’t realize it would be their farewell tour as their golden era of comedy is long in the past. With the support of their wives, they begin a grueling schedule to perform in variety-hall style to their adoring fans. Attendance is low at first, but by the end of the tour, the show is a hit. The film shows how they remain close friends throughout and cement their names in the world of comedy.
