In "SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis", our underwater hero stumbles upon a forgotten piece of an ancient medallion, long rumored to be a token of the legendary city, Atlantis. An electric thrill runs through the Bikini Bottom Museum as SpongeBob pairs his discovery with the medallion's missing half. In an unexpected twist, a magical van materializes, promising a journey to the fabled city of Atlantis.
Eagerly joining SpongeBob are Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs, each drawn by their own unique desires. Mr. Krabs dreams of diving into a pool of gold and jewels. In contrast, Squidward yearns to immerse himself in the richness of Atlantean culture, while Sandy is intrigued by the prospect of exploring advanced technology. SpongeBob and Patrick, on the other hand, are simply excited to glimpse the city's most cherished treasure—the Oldest Living Bubble.
Unbeknownst to the group, the crafty Plankton has hitched a ride, hidden in the van’s glove compartment, with a devious plan to exploit the city's powerful weaponry. Upon their arrival, they are warmly welcomed by Lord Royal Highness, the king of Atlantis, who immediately escorts them on an enchanting tour. Atlantis, with its unparalleled splendor, surpasses all expectations. The sensation of pure joy overwhelms SpongeBob and Patrick when they finally lay eyes on the Oldest Living Bubble.
However, their euphoria is short-lived as one unanticipated flash from Patrick's camera shatters the precious bubble. Suddenly, they find themselves fleeing from the Atlantean Guards. As if their predicament weren't complicated enough, Plankton appears, commandeering a colossal Atlantean tank. In a sudden turn of events, the Atlanteans, fascinated by Plankton's minuscule size, accept him as a worthy replacement for the bubble relic, placing him on display at the Atlantis museum.
With Plankton's capture, SpongeBob and his friends manage to return home, carrying with them vivid memories of their unforgettable adventure and a cherished souvenir—a photograph of the now non-existent Oldest Living Bubble.
