Plot

In the atmospheric halls of a Shaolin Temple, we find Yi-Lang, a quick-witted martial arts student, played by the charismatic Jackie Chan. He's the class jester, ingenious in his mischief, but his life takes a thrilling turn when an unknown thief infiltrates the temple's sacred library, making off with a book that holds the secrets of a potentially deadly Kung Fu style. The temple is thrown into disarray, and Yi-Lang, alongside five other monks, shoulders the blame for failing to prevent the heist. Their punishment? To guard a section of the school whispered to be haunted, a task that would test their courage and valor. But, it is here, amid chilling drafts and eerie echoes, that Yi-Lang encounters the ethereal guardians of the library - the dancing blue specters with fiery red hair. They are the forgotten masters of the 'Five Style Fists,' a supposedly lost fighting technique shrouded in legend. Seizing the opportunity, Yi-Lang offers himself as their pupil. Under their spectral guidance, he rapidly masters the form, propelling him through the ranks of the school. When the temple faces the imminent threat of the very thief who pilfered the sacred book, Yi-Lang stands as its last line of defense. Armed with his newfound style and aided by his ghostly mentors, he engages in an electrifying showdown to safeguard the honor of his school. "Spiritual Kung Fu" is a riveting tale of courage, wit, and supernatural martial arts, where spectral teachers from the past empower a cheeky student to become the temple's unlikely hero.
