It's the year 2977, and a massive war has consumed multiple galaxies thanks to a lack of resources. Mankind headed to the stars when Earth was exhausted, but they've now similarly worked through all of the resources in accessible galaxies. United by the Gaia Coalition, it seems like an empire on the brink of collapse, but the rogue Captain Harlock is the only one who possesses a powerful secret that could undermine the Gaia Coalition for good. Giving in means ceding control of everything to Gaia, while continuing to fight could open up the opportunity for a new future on Earth.
