In the chilly underbelly of a small-town ice-cream/burger joint, Ken Boyd, a man fresh from the sterile confines of a mental institution, grapples with reintegration into society. As he serves up scoops of ice cream and patties of meat, a sinister pattern begins to unfold - those responsible for his institutionalization are being systematically eliminated, their ends gruesomely exact.
As this ominous wave of retribution sweeps through the town, a revelation strikes Ken like a bolt from the blue - he has a daughter. Her sudden appearance in his life coincides with the mounting death toll, knotting Ken's existence into a taut thread of tension and suspicion.
Meanwhile, the local Sheriff, romantically entangled with Ken's mother, is forced to confront uncomfortable suspicions about Ken's possible involvement in the murders. The mounting evidence is damning, painting Ken in a corner of guilt. The situation spirals further when Ken's newfound daughter stumbles upon him in a damning situation, casting a long, ominous shadow over Ken's innocence.
In the end, Ken Boyd's plight hangs precariously, caught in the crosshairs of suspicion and familial bonds. Will he be able to clear his name, or will the chilling truth shatter the fragile ice of his newfound life?
