In the gritty heart of Jo'burg, two aspiring gangsters find themselves in a predicament as they journey home from a high-stakes drug deal. Their fate takes a wicked twist when their vehicle grinds to an unexpected halt amid the desolation of nowhere. With no choice but to seek refuge for the night, they stumble upon an eerily aged holiday resort, a relic of forgotten times that sits ominously in the hushed wilderness. Their problems multiply when, in the process of unloading their car, a box cracks open, revealing a fortune of a million bucks. The bundles of cash, as eye-catching as a snake in the grass, scatter across the gravel driveway. A frantic scramble ensues, and they manage to gather every last bill, retreating hastily into the safety of their temporary sanctuary. However, the spectacle has not gone unnoticed. The sight of the money ignites a spark of greed within the occupants of the five neighboring chalets. As the night descends, the resort transforms into a hothouse of treachery and deceit, with everyone starting to scheme - or as they say in local slang, "skeem". "Skeem" is a wild ride that unravels the dark side of human nature when the stakes are high, engulfing viewers in a suspenseful saga of greed, desperation, and survival.
