Samantha Baker's life is going downhill fast. She has a crush on the hottest guy in school, but the dorky one loves her. With her sister getting married, her family forgets what is supposed to be a huge day in Sam's life - her 16th birthday! Add in humiliating grandparents, an exchange student who is not used to American norms and all of the trials and tribulations of young adulthood.
