In the rustic depths of a small Texas town, the tranquility is shattered when Sheriff Dan Stevens stumbles upon a chilling scene of murder. The culprit, a hulking figure named John Kirby, is caught red-handed within the scene of the crime. In a desperate attempt to escape his fate, Kirby lunges at Stevens but is swiftly subdued and arrested. His desperate escape ends in a hail of bullets, seemingly ending his reign of terror.
