In the harsh landscape of the Wild West, former Confederate Bedloe Mason, along with his four sons, ride into a seemingly peaceful town, their minds tainted with the intention of thievery. Amidst the hushed whispers and wary glances of the townsfolk, a sudden 'click' echoes through the air, prompting Wes Mason to impulsively fire his gun, tragically ending the life of a child engrossed in innocent play with a cap pistol. Fleeing the scene, the Mason family scatters like the wind, but Gray Mason, burdened with guilt, finds himself drawn back to the town.
