In the bustling cityscape of Mumbai, India, Siddharth Verma leads an unassuming middle-class life as a Legal Advisor at Jain Software, owned by his close friend Remo Matthews, a wealthy, intelligent bachelor with a tragic past. Haunted by the death of his parents in a car accident years ago, Remo is hesitant to venture into the world of romance until Siddharth introduces him to Sophie, a woman he met online. Their connection is instantaneous and they quickly marry, creating an idyllic little world insulated from the chaos outside.
However, their happily-ever-after is shattered when the ghost of Sophie's past, an ambitious Bollywood actor named Sunny Khanna, re-enters her life.
