Plot

In the heart of a post-independence India, where the echoes of royalty still resonate, and the seeds of democracy are yet to take root, Prince Bhanu Pratap, charming yet shrouded in mystery, returns from a decade-long sojourn abroad. Alongside him is his confidant, Kapil, each step of theirs imbued with a sense of impending intrigue. The palace, once Bhanu Pratap's cradle, now harbors a sinister plot, nurtured by the ambitious Narpat Singh, brother of the Queen Kalavanti, the King's second wife after Bhanu Pratap's mother's untimely demise. Aided by his sister, the Queen, Narpat plots to dethrone Bhanu Pratap and elevate his own nephew to the throne. But an inkling of this scheme reaches the prince, prompting him to don the guise of a jester prince, deviating from his crown prince persona. His eccentric behavior is an attempt to unearth the conspirators and their ominous intentions. But when a murder allegation sends him fleeing from his own palace, with the relentless law on his pursuit, the plot thickens. As he ventures into the world outside the palace walls, Bhanu Pratap adapts a new identity - the common man, Bharat Ram. Amidst the everyday chaos, he showcases his true mettle, but his past refuses to leave him. The daughter of the slain man, Princess Sangeeta, seeks to avenge her father's death, her heart ablaze with the desire to kill the supposed murderer - the royal Bhanu Singh. However, as she finds herself drawn towards the enigmatic Bharat Ram, unaware of his true identity, a tumultuous internal conflict ensues. Rajkumar is a captivating tale of love entangled in a web of royal conspiracies, personal vendettas, and the struggle between age-old superstitions and evolving ideologies. It explores the complexities of human relationships and the dramatic confrontation between the past and the present, the royal and the common, love and revenge.
