Plot

In the tranquil town of Camelford, an innocent drive spirals into chaos when an unexpected vehicle stall forces Hart Read to swerve his motorcycle, carrying his girlfriend, Rose. The sudden maneuver results in a fiery accident, leaving Hart with minor injuries and Rose severely burned and in a coma. The Keloid Clinic for Plastic Surgery, nestled nearby, rushes to their rescue, and the innovative Dr. Dan Keloid takes Rose under his surgical wing. He employs an experimental plastic surgery technique, focusing on restoring her chest and abdomen skin. Once Hart is discharged, Rose remains in intensive care, her life hanging by a thread. After a month of eerie silence, Rose jolts awake with a piercing scream that leaves a nurse injured and unable to recall the chilling incident. A newfound and insatiable hunger for blood takes hold of Rose, turning her into a predatory creature of the night. Her victims, inflicted with an uncontrollable madness, transform into zombie-like beings, adding to the rising chaos. Escaping the confines of the clinic, Rose takes refuge in the pulsating city of Montreal, seeking solace with her friend, Mindy Kent. However, her arrival only exacerbates the city's descent into pandemonium as the infection spreads like wildfire. Unaware of the unfolding horror, Hart embarks on a desperate search for Rose, his love unknowingly turned into the architect of the city's doom. In "Rabid," a peaceful life is disrupted, a city is besieged, and a desperate hunt unfolds as a medical marvel morphs into a horrifying epidemic.
