In the heart of Echo Park, Los Angeles, teenage dreams and harsh realities intertwine. Eileen May Garcia, radiant in her fifteenth year, revels in the splendor of her traditional Quinceañera - a milestone that her younger cousin, Magdalena, eagerly anticipates. Awaiting her own fifteenth birthday, Magdalena yearns for a celebration like Eileen's, complete with an elegant dress and a grand limousine entrance. However, life's complexities loom over her dreams.
