In the grip of Spain's crippling economic crisis, a young couple, trapped in the nest of their parental homes, grapples with the complexities of their budding relationship. The financial turmoil that engulfs them prohibits them from expressing their love in privacy, driving them towards the desperate measures of seeking refuge in public spaces known as "picaderos". These popular hot spots, frequented by young lovers seeking intimacy, become their only hope. Yet, as the pair soon discovers, the path to love is far from straightforward, and their bond is swiftly put to the test as they struggle to navigate their way out of the economic chaos.
