Pay the Ghost (2015)

Professor Mike Lawford takes his son to a Halloween carnival. While distracted as he pays for ice cream, Charlie inexplicably vanishes. After a frantic search, he calls the police, but Charlie is never found. Lawford is haunted by the last words his son said before vanishing: “Can I pay the ghost?” He’s also haunted by ghostly apparitions of his son and other children. Clues lead him to an underground tunnel where homeless people inform him about a Celtic legend portending the disappearance of three children every Halloween. Now Lawford must navigate a frightening paranormal world to find his son.
