Pari (2018)

Under a storm-ridden sky, Arnab, accompanied by his parents, embarks on a journey home, their hearts heavy with thoughts of his impending arranged marriage to Piyali. Their journey takes a chilling turn when their car collides with a bizarrely aged woman, ending her life instantaneously. The gloomy aftermath leads Arnab and the local police to a nearby house, where they discover Ruksahana, the woman's daughter. She is found in a state of utter isolation, bound in chains and seemingly detached from the realities of the outside world. After paying respects to her deceased mother, Arnab reluctantly leaves Ruksahana in her eerie solitude. However, the arrival of Professor Qasim Ali and his crew, who seem ominously aware of Ruksahana's enigmatic identity, disrupts her solitude. In a desperate bid for freedom, she escapes their clutches and finds refuge in the unsuspecting Arnab's home. Unaware of the true identity of his mysterious guest, Arnab provides shelter, unknowingly inviting a web of intrigue and danger into his life. This tale of mystery and suspense unravels as Arnab finds himself entwined in a narrative much larger and darker than he could have ever imagined.
