Outlaw King (2018)

The English occupation of Scotland in the 14th century sets the stage for a real life story about Scottish people's struggle for independence. The English occupying Scotland declared King Robert the Bruce an outlaw, but he'd wear that title proudly as he mustered a force of loyal soldiers to undermine and repel the English occupation. Robert suffers up and downs in his long battle to muster his forces and lead a rebellion against the English. That includes the rise and fall of William Wallace and the ensuing battles that would follow and eventually lead to Scotland's first substantive battlefield success.
