Okja (2017)

A South Korean girl and her father are selected to raise a new kind of genetically engineered “super pig.” The pigs are huge and were created by the powerful Mirando Corporation. The girl, Mija, raises the pig which she names “Okja.” She falls in love with Okja as a pet. But then the time comes when the Mirando Corporation comes to collect its genetically modified pig for testing, breeding and possible slaughter. Mija is devastated when Okja is taken and flown to New York City. Mija sets out on a desperate international mission to rescue Okja and bring her home.

Okja is an adventure movie featuring Faith Logan and directed by Bong Joon-ho.
