Plot

In the gritty underbelly of crime, Brian Hope and Charlie McManus, two low-tier crooks with ambitions of a safer life, courageously decide to abandon their perilous lifestyle. With their dreams of an early retirement hinging on one final heist, they find themselves inadvertently robbing the formidable Chinese Triad. Now, a bulging leather suitcase stuffed with illicit cash is their dangerous companion, making them the target of a ruthless gangster boss they once served, the relentless Triads, and the ever-watchful police. Their desperate escape plan goes awry, forcing them to take refuge in the most unlikely of sanctuaries - a serene nuns' teacher training school. Hastily donning habits, they transform into an unlikely pair of sisters, their masculine gruffness concealed beneath layers of piety. Within the hallowed, all-female institution, they must not only dodge their relentless pursuers but also evade the suspicion of the unsuspecting residents of the convent, including the ever-prying eyes of Brian's unsuspecting girlfriend. As they navigate this intricate maze of deception, they grapple with the challenges of maintaining their nunly personas. Can they pull off the ultimate act of subterfuge and emerge unscathed, or will their past sins catch up with them in a divine comedy of errors? Underneath the wimple and veil, these "Nuns on the Run" offer an exhilarating blend of suspense, hilarity, and unexpected transformations.
