Plot

In the heart of a bustling city, Nina, an elegant French high school teacher, finds herself trapped in a hollow union with Wojtek, a humble mechanic who seems misplaced amidst the sophistication of her world. Their contrasting backgrounds amplify the cracks in their relationship, further widened by their desperate struggle to conceive a child. Meanwhile, Magda, an airport security guard with a penchant for nonchalance, weaves in and out of a casual relationship with the jet-setting stewardess, Ada. Yet, despite her lover's frequent absence, Magda’s heart remains uncommitted, creating a silent void in her life. Their worlds collide when Nina, in a moment of distraction, crashes into Magda's car, leading her straight to Wojtek's repair shop. Struck by Magda's raw beauty and unyielding strength, Wojtek sees her as the perfect surrogate who might bring them the child to mend their faltering bond. Yet, as they approach her with their proposition, an unforeseen complication arises. Nina, captivated by the enchanting Magda, finds herself entangled in a whirlwind of emotions, leading her to question her own desires. In the midst of this intricate web, an unconventional love story blossoms between Nina and Magda, a connection that transcends societal norms and challenges their beliefs. From clandestine encounters to overt expressions of affection, their tale evolves into a poignant journey of self-discovery and love, raising questions about the nature of relationships, motherhood, and the lengths one would go for the ones they love. The film, ‘Nina’, is a riveting exploration of the complexities of love and the human heart’s capacity for unexpected affection.
