Plot

Set in the post-apocalyptic year of 2053, the Earth's surface is scarred by a military experiment gone horribly wrong, stripping away the ozone layer and spawning radioactive clouds that wander aimlessly across the desolate plains. Amidst this chaos, humanity endures beneath the sporadic onslaught of "brights", lethal bursts of ultra-violet sunlight that reduce the unwary to ashes. In these perilous times, an eclectic group of survivors embark on a perilous journey from the frontier town of Jericho, seeking refuge in the fabled safe haven known as Neon City. Their motley crew includes a pragmatic doctor named Tom, an enigmatic elderly man hiding a mysterious past, a hardened prostitute, a bratty heiress, a haplessly unfunny comedian, and a relentless bounty hunter named Stark, who's escorting his prized captive, Reno. Their salvation lies within an armored transport truck, commandeered by Bulk, an ex-convict turned driver. The road to Neon City is fraught with danger, from traversing through toxic Xander clouds and enduring the scorching 150-degree "brights," to navigating treacherous, crumbling roads and evading vicious nomadic motorcycle gangs who guard their territory with deadly force. As the journey unfolds, the passengers' true natures begin to surface, revealing that in this savage new world, not everything is as it first appears. "Neon City" is a thrilling ride through a dystopian future, a chilling reminder of the fragility of civilization, and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. This gripping tale blends the raw intensity of "Mad Max" with a unique twist, creating a desolate yet captivating landscape that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
