In the heart of Paris, François, a middle-aged antique dealer, is living a life of opulence and style. However, beneath the surface of his fabulous life, François grapples with a bitter truth. At a dinner with his closest associates, he is blindsided by the revelation that he is not as well-liked as he believed. His arrogance, self-centeredness, and harsh demeanor have created a chasm between him and the true meaning of friendship. Caught in the crosshairs of this revelation is his business partner, Catherine, who poses a daring bet. If François can introduce his best friend, he keeps a priceless Greek vase he acquired for the company. If he fails, the vase is hers.
