Mole Men Against the Son of Hercules (1961)

In the realm of the extraordinary, Maciste, a man of Herculean strength, deliberately allows himself and his newfound companion, Bangor, to be seized by a cryptic horde of pallid raiders. They're whisked away to an enigmatic subterranean city where they are enslaved, forced to labor on a colossal wheel powering a clandestine operation mining precious gold and diamonds. Their plight catches the eye of the city's captivating queen, Halis Mosab, who is bewitched by Maciste's robust physique and selects him as her mate, if he can prove his worth by rescuing the abducted Princess Saliura from a monstrous ape. Triumphing over the beast, Maciste whisks Saliura back to the world above, the sunlight acting as their shield against the marauders, who disintegrate upon contact with the sun's rays. Yet, Maciste's heroism is not done, as he ventures back into the abyss to liberate the remaining captives. Amidst the turmoil, a revelation emerges from high priest Kahab, who confides in his son, Katar, that their queen was not born of their world, but was instead a child of the 'world above,' taken as an infant. Katar, seeing a chance for their offspring to live beneath the sun, plots to marry her. Standing in his way is Maciste, his newfound adversary, who, upon his recapture, must endure a lethal test of might, a challenge threatening not only his life but also that of Bangor and another prisoner, Loth, who cherishes a secret love for Princess Saliura.
