Me, Myself & Irene (2000)

Rhode Island state trooper Charlie Baileygates is ordinarily even-tempered and non-confrontational to a fault, but Charlie has a secret. His Dissociative Identity Disorder means that he sometimes manifests a second personality he calls Hank Evans. Evans is as confrontational and aggressive as Baileygates is mild. Baileygates is presented with the job of escorting a fugitive to prison. But when Irene's violent ex-boyfriend and a group of crooked cops set their sights on the two, they're put into more severe danger. When Charlie loses his medication and Evans begins to take control, it throws an even more dangerous layer of chaos into the mix.
