In the heart of an idyllic happy family life, retired Judge Justice Deenanath rejoices in the company of his loyal wife and two devoted sons - Ravi, an upstanding advocate, and Sunil, a steadfast inspector. A twist of fate brings the homeless and destitute Sharda into their lives, who Ravi takes under his wing after the tragic demise of her father. The family, quickly charmed by Sharda's innocence, orchestrates a union between Sharda and Ravi.
However, their joyous world shatters when, on the day of the wedding, an ex-convict named Jankidas storms the ceremony, staking his claim on Sharda as his lawfully wedded wife, presenting irrefutable evidence. This shocking revelation sends ripples through the close-knit community, leaving everyone, including the influential Mayor Kishanchand, in a state of disbelief.
The aftershocks of this event prove to be disastrous for the family. Deenanath succumbs to the shock, while Ravi, determined to protect Sharda, leaves the family home and marries her. But his battle with Jankidas escalates, resulting in the death of one of Jankidas’ henchmen and leading to Ravi’s arrest at the hands of his own younger brother, Inspector Sunil. Thus, the once serene family life descends into tumultuous chaos, forever altering the course of their lives.
