In the rustic town of Ramnagar, Narayan, an ex-convict turned laborer, toils on the expansive farmland owned by the affluent businessman, Ratan Kumar. Ratan, who also controls a thriving rubber estate in Singapore, is Narayan's benefactor, providing him with employment, a piece of land, and a humble abode. His daughter, Gayetri, a former tutor, shares this modest sanctuary with him. One fateful afternoon, Gayetri faints while delivering lunch to Narayan, and the shocking revelation of her pregnancy sends a tremor through their tranquil existence. Narayan is desperate to uncover the identity of the father, but Gayetri remains a fortress of silence.
