Magnum Force (1973)

Police inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan finds himself assigned to stakeout duty thanks to Lt. Briggs. A series of violent, execution-style murders of criminal figures leads to Harry's return to the homicide unit. The murders were all shot at close range with a Magnum revolver, and the murderer dresses like a motorcycle cop. Harry navigates the bureaucracy of the San Francisco police department as he slowly uncovers who is behind the vigilante killings.
