Once business partners in a thriving olive ranch, Raphael Brandini and Frank Cabella's relationship soured, splitting the land into two rival operations. She dreams of expansion, but her plans are stymied by a contested piece of land that could hold the key to her future. Jake Brandini, a savvy corporate lawyer from San Francisco, is Raphael's grandson. He is drawn back to his family's ranch due to a family emergency, and quickly becomes embroiled in the land dispute.
