Plot

Fresh from the cold, hard grip of prison, Mitchel finds himself yearning for a life away from the grime of crime. However, the seedy underbelly of London proves hard to escape when he accepts an offer from Billy, a low-ranking hustler, to join him on his rent collection rounds. As he navigates the harsh reality of London's grimy streets, Mitchel also finds himself fuelled by a burning desire for retribution against two youths who assaulted a homeless man he's taken under his wing. Simultaneously, Mitchel carries the burden of a troubled sister teetering on the brink of despair. As he fights to shield her from harm, he's unexpectedly offered a job. A famous, reclusive actress needs protection from the relentless, flashing lights of the paparazzi. As Mitchel steps into this new role, an unexpected attraction sparks, leading him further down a convoluted path. His life takes a more complicated turn when Billy's mob boss, Gant, a notorious figure in the London underworld, puts Mitchel in his crosshairs. Gant's sinister machinations force Mitchel back into the world he desperately wants to leave behind. He even attempts to dissuade Mitchel from his quest for revenge, adding another layer of complexity to Mitchel’s already tangled existence. As the plot threads intertwine, Mitchel is left standing on the precipice of a life-altering decision. Caught in a dizzying dance between his past and potential future, he must decide: Can he elude Gant's grasp, safeguard his sister, avenge his friend, and pursue a budding love? Or is he doomed to be forever ensnared in London's underworld, a captive of his own reputation? The streets of London may be paved with gold, but for Mitchel, they're littered with impossible choices.
