In the aftermath of their triumphant return to Sydney from filming a successful surfing documentary, four young filmmakers seize an opportunity too tantalizing to resist. Two international film producers, captivated by their skill, fund their next project, propelling them into the heart of the Great Australian Bite. Their journey takes them through the haunting beauty of the South Australian outback, an alien landscape of endless desert and silent skies. On an impromptu detour, they stumble upon the eerily quiet one-horse town of "Nowhere Else". Here, they find temporary refuge in the home of an enigmatic man, the sole proprietor of a solitary roadhouse, standing as the only sign of life in this dusty, desolate town. After a night of unsettling revelations and spine-chilling encounters, the filmmakers hastily depart from the roadhouse, only to be stranded in the sprawling desert when their vehicle is crippled by an unidentified flying object. Their only sanctuary: an abandoned church, a stark monolith in this barren wilderness, where they hunker down for a night that promises anything but peace. What began as a thrilling adventure set against the backdrop of sun, surf, and sand, spirals into a nightmarish ordeal, steeped in mystery and suffused with unspeakable terror.
