Plot

Raised by wolves following the violent demise of his parents, a young boy finds a semblance of family within the motley crew of a second-tier traveling circus in 19th-century France. Known as the "wolf boy," he becomes a spectacle within their ranks, his feral upbringing an intriguing mystery to the audience. However, as he enters manhood, a brutal incident incites him to shed the confines of the circus life and bolt for the city of lights - Paris. In this tarnished jewel of a city, he finds employment at a dilapidated zoo, a fitting environment for a man with his unique upbringing. But it's the allure of a local brothel that truly captures his attention, or more specifically, a young woman employed within its lurid walls. A potent mix of infatuation and wolfish protectiveness envelops him, embroiling him in a turbulent love born of the underbelly of Parisian society. The full moon brings out the beast in him, transforming his jealousy into a primal rage directed towards the woman's clients. His actions do not go unnoticed, drawing the dogged pursuit of a resolute police surgeon. As the city sleeps beneath the glow of the moon, a wild game of cat and mouse ensues, the legend of the werewolf coming alive on the darkened cobblestone streets of Paris.
