Nestled in the heartland of Ohio, the Cleavers epitomize the quintessential all-American family. At its heart are the wise patriarch, Ward, the nurturing matriarch, June, their sprightly teen Wally, and the irrepressible 8-year-old, Beaver. A boy-girl party with the age-old game of Spin the Bottle further complicates matters, pushing Wally into a romantic entanglement with Karen and igniting jealousy in Karen's ex-boyfriend, Kyle. As the rollercoaster of adolescent emotions and challenges escalates, Beaver is dared by Kyle and the bike thief to climb atop the giant coffee cup overlooking the town's coffee shop. As Ward and June grapple with the news of Beaver's academic struggles and Wally's romantic endeavors, they are yet to discover the impending dare that threatens to shake their peaceful world.
