In an era where the glitz and glamour of his past have faded into obscurity, Colton West, a once-cherished action hero of the 90s, finds himself lost in the world of low-budget horror films, wrestling with make-believe creatures of nightmare. Suddenly, Southern California is thrust into chaos by an unforeseen series of earthquakes, giving birth to a terrifying reality far more horrifying than any of Colton's films—lava-breathing spiders, the Lavalantulas, born from the fiery bowels of the earth. Amidst the ensuing pandemonium, Colton's sole mission becomes a desperate race against time to locate and protect his family. Armed with nothing more than his resilient spirit, a trusty shotgun, and his action-star instincts, he must wage war against an unstoppable legion of monstrous Lavalantulas.
