Plot

In the heart of a quirky, blue-collar Irish district in Philadelphia's underbelly, Mick (Jeremy Piven), a self-made real estate mogul, finds himself drawn back to his roots. Summoned home by a funeral, Mick discovers a family business on the brink of collapse and is compelled to intervene, igniting a quest to salvage his parents' legacy. As he navigates these choppy waters, he rekindles an old flame with his childhood sweetheart (Taryn Manning), who has also found her way back to the town they once knew. Met with relentless jesting from his old pals, Mick is reminded of the stark contrast between his current life and his humble beginnings. As he immerses himself in the gritty charm of his old neighborhood, he is confronted with a decision that threatens to tear at his very identity - the choice between bulldozing the family bar or breathing new life into it. The Last Call (2021) is a poignant journey of homecoming, love, and the internal struggle of preserving one's past while forging a future.
