Within the walls of Café Laputa, Johanka (Tereza Voriskova) seeks solace, her life ebbing and flowing like the patrons who frequent her establishment. Men come, men go - much like Miki, the poet, who departs for Turkey with Johanka's sister in tow. Then there's Felix, her past love, who resurfaces from his globetrotting adventures only to form a band and whisk himself off to Puerto Rico, where he ties the knot.
Johanka's existence, reflected in the frothy despair of every beer mug, appears to stagnate. In a bold move, she transforms the café into a massage parlor, hoping for a change that seems elusive. Yet, as the saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. But the tarot cards lay it out for her: she needs to step back, to view her life as an observer. It's time for Johanka to acknowledge the truth - this is who she is, this is where she belongs, and these are her people. This is her story of finding home amidst the chaos of change.
