Plot

In the heart of Rhode Island, nestled within the vibrant Italian-American Sposato family, the dutiful daughter, Danni, is on the verge of marrying Geoffrey Brancato. As the third and 'golden child' of the family, Danni resides with her traditional parents Santo and Irena, her life a picture of domestic tranquility. The upcoming nuptials serve as a magnet, drawing her disparate sisters back to the familial fold: Nikki, the glamorous TV starlet, entrenched in a show bearing uncanny resemblance to 'Baywatch', along with her manager and beau, Marty Weinberg; Chrissy, the high-flying Wall Street investment whizz; and the youngest, Toni, a rebellious rock-and-roll spirit, deeply entwined with her lesbian lover, Amy Kayne. As the sisters converge for Danni's wedding, the Sposato household becomes a simmering cauldron of rivalries and resurfacing wounds. Their reunion unfolds within the warm, bustling backdrop of Tom Terranova's restaurant, a place holding a special significance as Nikki's first love. The long overdue family gathering soon spirals into a whirlwind of heated discussions, as each sister tries to outshine the other, and buried feelings are dragged into the harsh light of day. Kiss The Bride is a story of love, rivalry, and the complex weave of family ties. It explores the tensions that arise when the past collides with the present, and familial bonds are stretched to their limits. Will Danni's wedding serve as a balm to heal old wounds, or will it tear the Sposato family apart?
