Kate & Leopold (2001)

This is a fantasy romantic comedy set in the late 1800s and the 21st century. An impoverished English baron lives in New York in 1876 looking for a wealthy American to marry. He sees a strange man at the party where he must make a choice and follows him through a time gap into 2001. The strange man is the ex-boyfriend of a successful businesswoman living in the same apartment house. Comedy ensues when the baron walks through 21st century New York, but when the baron and the businesswoman meet, it’s love at first sight. How will it work with one from the past and one from the future?
