The Justice League has proven that they're the Earth's most powerful defenders, as they've just stopped an intergalactic war with Earth as the battlefield. But suddenly an attack staged by the underwater kingdom of Atlantis against New York City launches the world back into conflict. The only thing that will defuse the issue is if the Justice League finds the missing son of the Atlantean king. But war still rages as they begin their quest. The king of Atlantis has recently been killed. Atlantis believes that the world above is responsible, and they aren't afraid to take their vengeance on them.
