In a bleak, ancient castle perched ominously above a quaint Mexican village, resides the eerie Maria Frankenstein (Narda Onyx) and her brother, Rudolph (Steven Geray). They are the ominous descendants of the legendary Dr. Frankenstein, whose monstrous creation sent shockwaves of terror through Europe half a century ago. Meanwhile, the notorious Old West outlaw, Jesse James (John Lupton), and his loyal companion, Hank Tracy (Cal Bolder), are on the run from relentless Marshal MacPhee, the relentless lawman determined to bring them to justice. When Hank is wounded during their flight, they seek refuge in the village where they encounter the charming Juanita Lopez (Estelita Rodriguez). Guiding them to the only medical help available, she unknowingly leads them to the lair of Maria Frankenstein. Seizing opportunity, Maria sees the wounded Hank as a perfect specimen to continue her grandfather's macabre experiments. Sending Jesse and Juanita on a wild goose chase for medicine, Maria conducts a chilling brain-transplant on the unsuspecting Hank, transforming him into a terrifying, bald zombie named Igor. Under her sadistic control, she commands Igor to eliminate her brother, setting the stage for a dark and twisted plot. Upon their return, Maria cunningly informs Jesse that Hank has left. But Jesse, suspecting something sinister, finds himself drawn into a treacherous game of cat and mouse, where he must confront the chilling legacy of Frankenstein and save his friend from a fate worse than death.
