Inteha (2003)

In the opulent world of Tina Saxena, where her wealthy widower father is her only family, a startling revelation shatters her existence. She learns of her father's past lover and the product of that affair, a half-sister named Nandini. Despite Tina's resentment, her ailing father invites Nandini to live with them, entrusting her with Tina's care after his impending departure from this world. His demise leaves Tina and Nandini alone in a world of wealth and grief, with Tina's animosity towards Nandini still burning. However, the entrance of the dashing Ranbir Oberoi into Tina's life triggers a change. His charm and charisma bewitch Tina, with Nandini also approving of this blossoming relationship. It seems as though Tina is overcoming her disdain for Nandini, but an unexpected change occurs when Nandini suggests Tina should end her relationship with Ranbir. This shocking advice, following a petty theft incident, leaves Tina astounded and defiantly committed to her love affair. When Anwar Hussain is found dead, Nandini drops a bombshell, accusing Ranbir of the crime. Despite Ranbir's arrest and subsequent release due to Tina's alibi, the sisters are left in a turbulent confrontation. The ties that bind them are strained and Nandini is left to make a decision: to continue shouldering the responsibility of caring for Tina or to step away, leaving Tina to navigate her life's path alone.
