In the wake of relocating to a time-worn, fire-ravaged house, Brad and Meg are relieved to see their teenage son Tyler adjusting well despite the daunting enormity of adolescence. However, their tranquility is disrupted by their younger daughter Gina's unsettling tales of 'fairies' that she claims inhabit the playhouse in their new backyard. These peculiar narratives, tinged with a sinister undertone, are initially dismissed as the ramblings of a child's imagination. As the family settles into their new home, a grimy canvas of neglect and decay, the house reveals its eerie quirks.
