Plot

In the uppermost quarters of a haunting asylum, a lone woman finds solace in a room bathed in the ethereal glow of sporadic spotlights punctuating the night. They occasionally illuminate her window, casting an eerie dance of shadows. Her solitude is broken only by the rhythmic scratching of her pencil, etching words onto a notebook. The tension in her grip often snaps the fragile lead, the shattered pieces meticulously lined up on the window sill like a silent testament to her determination. A sinister figure, neither of flesh nor blood, lurks in the periphery. Crafted from straw and clay, it serves as an animated, ominous presence, adding a disquieting undertone to her seclusion. Despite its presence, the woman concludes her letter with unwavering focus, the paper torn from its bindings, folded, and gently tucked into an envelope. It's a message to an unseen recipient, slipped through a narrow slot in a wall whispering promises of connection. Her closing lines linger in the air, "Sweetheart, come." It's her plea, her hope, her silent prayer in this world of isolation.
