Plot

In the shimmering limelight of the London Palladium, the captivating Jenny Bowman (Judy Garland), a renowned singer, revels in her success. As the applause fades, the longing for the family she never had swells within her. Seizing a precious opportunity while her former flame, David Donne (Sir Dirk Bogarde), is away in Rome, she embarks on a heartfelt journey to reconnect with their son, Matt (Gregory Phillips).
