Housesitter (1992)

In the romantic whirlwind that is 'Housesitter', Newton Davis, a passionate architect, pours his heart into creating a dream house as a proposal gift for his longtime love, Becky. However, his grand romantic gesture is met with rejection, leaving him heartbroken and the dream house wrapped in a ribbon of unfulfilled promise. Returning to the city, Newton drowns his sorrows and crosses paths with Gwen, a charismatic waitress with a whimsical relationship with the truth.
