In the vibrant city of Charlotte, NC, lives Blake, a young man with dreams of becoming a fighter, and his mother Roxy, a passionate dance studio owner. Their peaceful existence shatters on the eve of Thanksgiving in a devastating car accident that claims Roxy's life and leaves Blake severely injured. Recovering from his injuries, Blake is confronted by Ruben, a man claiming to be his long-lost father. With no other option, 17-year-old Blake finds himself uprooted from his familiar world and transported to the rhythmic pulse of Miami. Here, Ruben, a washed-up ballroom dancer, owns a financially struggling dance studio and lives with his wife, Emily. Ruben's dance studio is buzzing with anticipation for the Holiday Spin, an annual dance competition held on Christmas Eve. The air is filled with the enchanting melodies of Christmas carols, as couples dance for the grand prize—a spectacular $50,000 to be awarded to the winning dance studio. Pia, one of Ruben's dancers, was set to compete with Ruben's star pupil, Rob. But when Rob's inappropriate behavior leads to a fallout and his subsequent pairing with another dancer, Tezza, at a rival studio, Pia finds herself without a partner. In a twist of fate, Blake, who hasn't danced since his childhood, offers to step in and dance with Pia. Together, they embark on a journey of rhythm and grace, hoping to win the Holiday Spin and save Ruben's dance studio, while navigating their evolving relationship.
