Plot

In the quaint town of Bayeux, nestled within the heart of Normandy, lives Alice, a twenty-year-old with humble origins and dreams larger than life. Alice navigates her simplistic existence, juggling her position as a salesgirl at a local bakeshop and a lackluster romance with her unambitious boyfriend, Kevin. Yet, beneath the routine lies Alice's burning passion for fashion, her hands weaving magic into wool, a talent unnoticed until Agnès, a wealthy patron at the tearoom, takes a sip of her tea and a glimpse into Alice's extraordinary potential. Agnès, a woman of refined tastes and grand resources, recognizes Alice's raw talent and sees a diamond in the rough. She encourages the young woman to spread her wings and apply to the prestigious Ecole Duperré, a renowned institution for Applied Arts in the heart of Paris. When Alice secures her spot, she's compelled to abandon the comfort of Bayeux, her doting mother, the familiar faces of her friends, and Kevin's lackluster love for the dazzling allure of Paris. As Alice prepares for her transformative journey, she finds her heart entangled with Antoine, Agnès's son. A young man brimming with sensitivity, Antoine rebels against his mother's high society expectations and the stifling confines of his bourgeois upbringing. As Alice steps into the unfamiliar world of high society, she must navigate her blossoming feelings for Antoine and the challenges of her new life.
