Hero (2012)

Once a famed stunt choreographer, Dharamraj master (Thalaivasal Vijay) has faded into obscurity, his glory days in the film industry a distant memory. Tasked with the burden of his daughter's upcoming marriage, he finds himself compelled to return to the world of stunts and spectacle. A glimmer of hope appears when Aadhityan (Anoop Menon), a celebrated director, offers him a chance to reclaim his old mojo. Dharamraj's comeback ignites when he enlists the help of Tarzan Antony (Prithviraj), a man whose dedication to his craft is surpassed only by his physical prowess. The set becomes his stage, and the crew, his audience. Among them is the film's protagonist, Prem Kumar (Srikanth), a privileged son of the Home Minister, who finds himself entranced by the film's leading lady, Gowri Balan (Yami Gautam). Unrequited love plagues Prem, as Gowri remains indifferent to his affections. In contrast, Tarzan's extraordinary stunts captivate Gowri, and their shared admiration for each other's talent slowly blossoms into love. As the film hits the big screen, the audience, oblivious to the real hero behind the high-octane action sequences, showers Prem with praise. Meanwhile, the recognition Tarzan receives from Gowri, Aadhityan, and the crew fuels Prem's jealousy, triggering a torrent of action-packed twists and turns as he sets out to sabotage Tarzan. The film thus unfolds as a thrilling saga of love, jealousy, and the quest for recognition.
