Hellhole (1985)

In the shadowy abyss of forgotten memories, a young woman is left adrift following a brutal attack by Silk, a sinister scarf-clad killer. This tragic encounter not only claims her mother's life but also leaves her scarred, traumatised and robbed of her memories. As if ensnared in a web of endless nightmares, she is committed to a mental asylum, a place that teeters on the brink of sanity itself. However, the horror is far from over, for this asylum is a grotesque playground for a mad doctor, a puppeteer of minds, who conducts chilling experiments with chemical lobotomies. His patients, mere pawns in his ruthless game, are subjected to a lethal drug that gnaws at the last threads of their sanity. Meanwhile, the woman's past resurfaces as Silk infiltrates the asylum, his insidious presence a lurking terror. His objective: to retrieve certain papers he'd sought from her mother. As the woman stands on the precipice of oblivion, she must navigate her way through the asylum's labyrinthine horrors, Silk's relentless pursuit, and the doctor's monstrous experiments. "Hellhole" is a chilling descent into madness, a fight for survival in a world unhinged, where the walls between reality and nightmare blur, and the past and present dance in a macabre waltz.
